To record a screen video on a Chromebook, press Ctrl + Shift + [  ]]] (Switch Windows). This looks like this on a Chromebook keyboard:

Then, use the toggle on the left of the bottom toolbar to switch to recording mode. To end the recording, select the red Stop button near the time in the bottom right.
